 Wind Advisory  Statement as of 2:51 PM PDT on October 25, 2014


... Wind Advisory remains in effect from 8 PM this evening to 3 PM
PDT Sunday...

* winds... southwest 25 to 35 mph with gusts up 40 to 50 mph.

* Timing... winds will begin to increase this evening... peaking
between midnight and sunrise Sunday morning. The winds will
begin to slowly dissipate Sunday morning with a return of
gustiness Sunday afternoon.

* Impacts... light weight objects and tree branches may become
flying objects. Vehicles traveling on area roadways should be
prepared for strong and gusty winds. Power outages may be
possible.

Precautionary/preparedness actions...

A Wind Advisory means that winds of 30 to 40 mph are expected.
Winds this strong can make driving difficult... especially for
high profile vehicles. Use extra caution.
